This rounded vessel serves as a quiet anchor for a single stem or a sprig of dried grass. The Lagoon Turquoise glaze features deep teal depths and atmospheric charcoal speckling, mimicking the surface of a mountain lake at dusk. Its enclosed form and narrow neck are designed to frame nature’s smallest details with minimalist precision.

Hand-thrown in our Boulder, Colorado studio using durable stoneware clay.

Fully watertight and stable. While the high-fired stoneware is technically dishwasher safe, we recommend rinsing this narrow-necked form by hand to ensure it remains pristine.

Because this item is hand-thrown, no two are ever exactly alike. Variations in glaze and form are not defects—they are the beautiful evidence of the handmade process. The piece you receive will be the only one of its kind in existence.

Care Instructions

• Handwashing is best. For a long-lasting finish, especially for pieces with unglazed clay or celadon glazes, we recommend washing by hand using a gentle, non-abrasive detergent.

• Dishwasher safe. While our pieces are dishwasher safe, we suggest using a gentle cycle and arranging items so they won't touch to prevent chips or cracks.

• Microwave safe. You can use your ceramic in the microwave, but avoid sudden temperature changes. Never put a cold piece directly into a hot microwave, or a hot piece into cold water, as this can cause thermal shock.
